Boarding for Cats & Dogs at Edmonds Veterinary Hospital

Boarding Services for Cats and Dogs

At Edmonds Veterinary Hospital, we provide safe and comfortable boarding services for both cats and dogs. Whether you’re heading out of town or simply need a trusted place for your pet, our caring staff ensures your furry family member is well cared for.

Boarders do not need to be existing clients, but proof of current vaccinations is required before scheduling. If your pet’s vaccines are not up to date, our team can conveniently update them prior to boarding.

What to Bring with You:

To make your pet’s stay smooth and stress-free, please bring:

  • Your pet’s food, treats, and any medications or supplements

  • A leash, collar, or harness

We provide bowls, bedding, and toys, so there’s no need to bring those items. For the safety of our staff and other pets, raw diets are not accepted.

Drop-off and pick-up hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

  • Sunday: Closed to the public

When you arrive, you’ll meet with one of our assistants to review feeding and medication instructions, as well as any additional services you’d like during your pet’s stay. Please allow 10–15 minutes for check-in paperwork.

What to Expect During Your Pet’s Stay

Your pet’s comfort and safety are our top priority.

  • Separate wards: Cats and dogs are housed in separate areas, and in individual condos or runs.

  • No cross-interaction: Pets do not interact with others unless they are from the same household.

  • Regular exercise: Dogs are taken on potty walks five times per day.

Optional add-on services are available for an additional fee:

  • Enrichment activities: One-on-one time with staff for personalized play and stimulation.

  • Dog “Spaw Day”: Includes a bath, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, nail trim, and anal gland expression.

  • Cat Care Upgrades: Nail trims, ear cleaning, brush outs, anal gland expression, and more.
